THE COMPANIES BILL, 2012
CHANGES IN INDIAN CORPORATE LAWS: BENEFITS GUARANTEED
The Companies Act 1956 is the foundation for corporate law in India. Soon, it will be phased out and an entirely new law enacted. This replacement will be a breath of fresh air for the corporate community. Its more elaborate disclosure norms will result in better governance and structuring. Not only will it be better integrated with Western codes, it will give companies entering India a far smoother experience.
